What data I hold and Why
Contact numbers – This data must be kept to contact you in the event of an emergency, or to arrange extra walks or cancel walks.
Emails – This data is used to keep in contact with you for updates and invoices
Dog Commands & Characteristics (Only the data given on the forms you signed) –
This helps me to communicate with dogs better and arrange suitable walks for them.
NOTE: I will ask for your consent if I want to record any more data about your dogs.
Photos – Let you see your dogs in action on their walks. To represent different types of walks on the website.
Rota – Details of your dogs pick times are recorded weekly and deleted after 7 days per rota.
How data is stored (and how its kept safe)
All forms filled in by clients are scanned into a computer. The computer is password protected, and physical copies are destroyed. All the data is neatly organized into a Microsoft excel document.
Keys are kept in a safe. Records of addresses are destroyed after 30 days and memorized afterwards.
For extra reassurance, I am insured to replace all the locks in your house, if the keys are stolen/lost.
The data for previous clients is destroyed.
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold on you at anytime. I must respond within 30 days.
You have the right to correct any of the data I hold about you or your pet.
Sharing Data & Consent
I do not share any of your data with third parties. However, I do share registered clients images of pets on social media and the website. Your permission will be needed to share images of your animals on the previously mentioned platforms.
